Bring Her Back
Bring Her Back builds an impressive record against weaker competition — then loses it in the late rounds. At 56% overall, the number flatters it slightly. A thriller that holds attention during viewing without necessarily lodging in memory afterward. In a bracket format, that distinction matters — the vote happens in the moment, but the film needs to have left a mark.
Synopsis
Following the death of their father, a brother and sister are introduced to their new sibling by their foster mother, only to learn that she has a terrifying secret.
The 20-point gap between opening round and final tells the story. Bring Her Back wins when the bracket field is wide; when it narrows to the best, the margins flip.
Bring Her Back dominates Together at 76%. 28 Years Later at 29% is the one matchup where that confidence disappears.
In Top Horror Films of 2025, Bring Her Back edges The Ugly Stepsister 63–37% in round one, loses to 28 Years Later (29%) in the semifinals, trails Weapons 55–45% in the final. The final is too close to call.
