The Fall Guy

Coin Flip Wins almost exactly half the time
2024 · Action, Comedy, Romance · David Leitch

The Fall Guy at 48% is about as even as it gets. The voters are divided, and 147 matchups haven't settled the debate. A big, charming action comedy that wins on pure likability. It's the kind of film that gets chosen on a good mood and passed over the moment the ballot asks for something weightier.

Synopsis

The ceiling

Evenly split overall, but not evenly split round by round. 46%, 59%, 39% — the balance tips in the semis and against it in the finals. The averages wash out, but the details don't.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is the nearest thing to a true rival at 53%. The margin is slim and the outcome still feels unsettled. The Fall Guy owns Anyone But You at 80% but Notting Hill flips the script entirely: just 17%.

Dominates
Kryptonite

The Fall Guy handles The Proposal in the semis but can't get past Notting Hill in the final (17%). The tournament nemesis is clear.
