Jurassic Park currently dominates Jurassic World Rebirth 95–5
The benchmark overshadows the newcomer.
The Verdict Franchise Civil War
Rebirth is the first Jurassic film in years to remember these creatures are supposed to feel enormous, and Gareth Edwards — who shot both Godzilla and the Death Star for scale — knows how to make a person look tiny beside one. But it hedges. After staging real awe, it still reaches for a lab-grown mutant, the exact manufactured-monster reflex the original warned against. Jurassic Park is that warning made into a movie, Malcolm's line about scientists so busy asking whether they could that they never asked whether they should. A wide result is the original holding the high ground it has held since 1993, distrusting the freak-show the newer film keeps sliding back toward.
