Jurassic Park

Strong Contender Wins well above average
1993 · Adventure, Science Fiction · Steven Spielberg

There's a difference between a film audiences like and one that wins brackets. Jurassic Park does both — 59% across 301 head-to-head matchups. Spielberg at his most purely entertaining, with effects that haven't aged because the craft behind them was real. Nostalgia and genuine quality reinforce each other here, making it a pick that never needs defending.

Synopsis

Before opening day, he invites a team of experts and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park and help calm anxious investors.
