Out of Africa
Out of Africa wins a lot of early-round matchups but struggles against the best. At 43% overall, first impressions only go so far. A sweeping romantic epic from an era of filmmaking that doesn't exist anymore. Voters either find it genuinely transporting or fundamentally incompatible with their patience. Decisions land in 0.7s on average — too fast for deliberation. This is pure instinct.
