Zootopia
Zootopia wins a lot of early-round matchups but struggles against the best. At 49% overall, first impressions only go so far. A family movie that genuinely works for everyone in the room: the kids get a zippy animal buddy-cop mystery, and parents get the sharp satire and pop-culture winks layered underneath, plus a sloth-at-the-DMV scene that only gets funnier the older you are. That something-for-everyone appeal makes it a tough one to vote against.
Synopsis
Determined to prove herself, Officer Judy Hopps, the first bunny on Zootopia's police force, jumps at the chance to crack her first case - even if it means partnering with scam-artist fox Nick Wilde to solve the mystery.
The 16-point gap between opening round and final tells the story. Zootopia wins when the bracket field is wide; when it narrows to the best, the margins flip.
Brave at 25% is the toughest opponent in Zootopia's bracket life. Moana causes similar problems at 29%.
Original or Sequel? Family Favorites is Zootopia's bracket: it clears the early rounds consistently but meets its ceiling in the final against Wicked (40%).
