Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Legend badge is hard to earn. Fantastic Mr. Fox's 70% record across 130 matchups reflects consistent, broad-based appeal — well above the 50% that would mean winning as often as losing. The Wes Anderson film you can put on for a nine-year-old: Roald Dahl's fox, George Clooney's voice, and the word "cuss" standing in for all the swearing. The stop-motion fur visibly shifts every time an animator touched it, which grown-ups notice and kids simply accept. It is the top-rated Wes Anderson film on BingeBracket.
Synopsis
The Fantastic Mr. Fox, bored with his current life, plans a heist against the three local farmers. The farmers, tired of sharing their chickens with the sly fox, seek revenge against him and his family.
Dominant from start to finish. 79% opening, 57% semis, 73% finals — no round exposes a weakness because there isn't one to find.
The Royal Tenenbaums is the nearest thing to a true rival at 52%. The margin is slim and the outcome still feels unsettled. The 100% rate against Moonrise Kingdom is among the most lopsided in Fantastic Mr. Fox's history. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou at 79% is another comfortable win.
In Best of Wes Anderson, the path to the title runs through The Grand Budapest Hotel — and Fantastic Mr. Fox takes it at 70%. A dominant champion.
