The Dark Knight Rises

Legend Wins over 65% of all matchups
2012 · Action, Crime, Drama, Thriller · Christopher Nolan

The Dark Knight Rises makes short work of most opponents. At 69% across 29 head-to-head matchups, it sits near the top of BingeBracket's all-time rankings. Bane's broken-backed menace and the spectacle of a city under siege hand the trilogy's finale a scale most opponents simply can't answer. Its one real competitive wrinkle is the company it keeps — arriving in the shadow of The Dark Knight, it turns each matchup into a quiet test of whether an oversized, ambitious closer can stand on its own. It is the top-rated Christopher Nolan film on BingeBracket. Fans decide quickly — 1.2s avg vs 3.5s platform average.

Synopsis

Following the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes to protect the late attorney's reputation and is subsequently hunted by the Gotham City Police Department. Eight years later, Batman encounters the mysterious Selina Kyle and the villainous Bane, a new terrorist leader who overwhelms Gotham's finest. The Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy.
