The American President
The American President wins a lot of early-round matchups but struggles against the best. At 36% overall, first impressions only go so far. Sorkin's rehearsal for The West Wing plays as a political romance where the Oval Office is both the obstacle and the aphrodisiac. It's the kind of film that wins on charm in early rounds but faces a ceiling against opponents with more edge. It ranks among the weakest 1990s performers on the platform.
